A very sweet friend RAK'd Dragon Rip to my DH. Thank you so much Teresa, it touches my heart that you would be so kind and generous to him and to me.
Scroll down to see a pic in my last post.
He is excited to start and so naturally we got a bit of extra money today, the same day he got the chart (that never happens to me), and after work we made the long drive to pick up fabric and new longer scroll rods. I bought my 18 ct. aida for Glamor and he bought fabric for his exciting project. We were able to use a 40% off coupon on one of the pieces.
I didn't check behind him and we were home admiring our stuff when we realized he'd bought 18 count almost the right size but hadn't added the extra 3 inches around the edges. Hmm. So i now have 18 count for Tree of Life, but we will have to go back and get fabric for him. Poor baby, I'm so disappointed for him. I keep thinking I should have checked because he isn't used to buying stitching fabric.
I got to stitch for only one day, no stitching yesterday due to the back and the same today plus I'm too tired now that I'm home. Bath and bed for me since I am going in to work early tomorrow.
Ah, a post with no pictures.

So awesome, you have a stitching partner so close as your DH... Please post his WIPS too.
There are so many wonderful people out there.
That is the coolest! What a nice person to do this for you both.
I can't wait to see his progress, the chart is awesome looking.
